Meet Ace

About Ace: I have been waiting so patiently for someone to think that I am “the one” for such a long time. I am starting to wonder if anyone will want me! I am now in my own room, so you will be able to spend time with me and see how loving I am. The staff here love to let me out in the kitchen when they are working, because I am wonderful company. I love being around people and I like following you around to see what you are doing. My story is a sad one- my pelvis was fractured when I was younger, and so I am very sensitive to having my lower back touched. You can imagine how much pain I must have been in. However, I do love having my head and neck rubbed! My previous owner’s house was foreclosed and so I became homeless. I love to be with you, even in a safe, fenced-in yard. I am a friendly boy, who prefers to sit next to you on the couch. I am good with other cats, and I would preferably like a home with older or no children. I will need to find an understanding person who will not stroke my sensitive lower back for too long. I have had a very stressful year, so I am hoping to find a home soon where I can be pampered. Won’t you be my savior and take me home?

From the Shelter Staff: The people who work in the cat room all love Ace. He is a great cat who loves to be around people. He will be a wonderful addition to a home and he will be excellent company because he is like a velcro cat! He really loves having his head rubbed and he is a voracious eater! We feel he has become more and more comfortable in the shelter, demonstrating what a wonderful cat he is. We all wish someone would give him a chance at a real home.
