Choo-Choo, a long-haired Chihuahua mix, found himself all alone in the middle of winter. He was homeless, cold and desperately hungry when he was picked up by a local Animal Control Officer. Under state law, strays like Choo-Choo have to be held in a holding facility for 10 days to see if their owner might be located.
A few weeks ago, Sundance came to us with life-threatening injuries - his pelvis was shattered and his leg had to be amputated.
But because of the generous support from our friends, we were able to pay for the surgery he needed. We are thrilled that he is responding amazingly well to treatment and will soon be ready for a forever home.
Your support helps us match up homeless animals with families who love them!
A Joyful Reunion
Everyone can imagine the heartbreak of losing a beloved pet. You spend countless hours searching the neighborhood and calling animal shelters, wondering if you will ever see your companion again. This was the case for Paula and her adorable cat Randy.
Randy was an exceptionally smart and obedient cat. That's why during a vacation last summer, Paula felt perfectly comfortable letting him meander about in their friends' backyard.
