We adopted Bauer (formerly Tyson) in January 2013 when he was a 10 week old pup from Georgia. We almost didn’t see him laying way back in his kennel.  He had no blue card, and we were so disappointed that someone had already picked him.

We turned to leave and a staff member walked by with a card in her hand. I asked it it was for “Tyson.”  It was and there was no going back in that kennel; he was ours. The staff at NEAS was right when they said he needed lots of loving.  He loves attention and is truly our family’s best friend. He has been there for us through happiness and sorrow and he senses each feeling.

We could not have asked for a better dog – his personality and demeanor are perfect. We love him to pieces. Thank you NEAS for rescuing him first.
