I adopted Tegan (formerly Stacie) on July 14, 2016.  She was born in Georgia. It was love at first sight! I had been planning to rescue a puppy for a few years and I was finally ready to make a decision. I got to NEAS about two hours before the puppies were coming out and decided I would wait around. I was able to be the first one in, but the only pretty face I saw was my Tegan! She was such a little babe, only 7 pounds at 12 weeks…at first she was very shy, I’m guessing she may have been the runt of the litter because her adorable sister was almost twice as big!

It took her a while to warm up to me but I could see that she really wanted to be loved! The whole process to adopt her was amazing, from start to finish, and Tegan and I were off for our life’s adventure! It only took one night sleeping in my bed and it was like she had always been there!! We are practically inseparable.

I take her everywhere with me on hiking trips, day trips to the dog beach, and so much more! She loves the dog park, any and ALL other dogs, She is a sweetheart through and through…definitely loves being chased, and has a very expensive taste for my most expensive shoes. 🙂 I just couldn’t imagine life without her!!

Thank you NEAS!!! I would love to meet the owner of her sister so that they could have a play date! <3
