Join us on Saturday, August 17th at Northeast Animal Shelter for Clear The Shelter Day — an NBC and Telemundo nationwide adoption event with the goal of, you guessed it, Clearing the Shelters!
To encourage folks to opt to adopt, adoption fees for pets who have been with us for 14+ days — affectionately known as our Best Friends — will be paid for by a generous grant from the ASPCA and Subaru America! Although everyone at the Shelter has grown to love these cats and dogs and will miss them, it’s time for our pals to make new friends.
Come to the Shelter and be prepared to fall in love!
Even if you’re not looking for a pet right now, stop by for the fun! Between 10am-2pm there will be face painting, children’s crafts, a photo booth, a PopTart pop-up from Brew Box, PoBoys and Pies food truck, puppy yoga*, and a pet food drive for local food pantries.
*Sorry, but the 9am and 10:30am puppy yoga classes are sold out.
