We adopted Hazel (formally known as Agape) at four months old on 7/5/20. She appears to like everything about her new home. Hazel is very curious, as she loves to sniff every nook and cranny in the house and follow us around like a little shadow. Hazel loves to eat and has been rewarded with many treats as she’s learning her commands such as “sit” and “down.” We’re still potty training, but she has improved greatly. We ring a bell at our door before taking her out to signal “potty time” and yesterday was the first time she rang the bell herself to let us know she needed to go! Hazel is a friendly little girl who loves to meet new people and explore new places. She loves to run around outside and play all the time. The cutest thing is when we tell her to chase her toys she hops over to them like a bunny. We take her for car rides often and she LOVES it! After a full day of fun and play, we listen to puppy lullabies before bedtime. Anyone we meet we tell them of the awesome experience we had at the shelter, especially with David! He was very patient and helpful throughout the entire adoption process. Thank you David and NEAS, we are so happy and in love with our little Hazel!
