Samuel & Lilith need urgent medical care right now
Samuel (black lab mix) and Lilith (brown, black and white hound) are presently at our rescue partner in Georgia, and they need urgent medical care before they can be sent to NEAS. Samuel was found with a broken right front leg, but he is otherwise in good health. One option is amputation, but we want to save his leg, and that will require surgery at the University of Georgia Veterinary Hospital at an estimated cost of $3,500 to $5,000. Will you help save Samuel’s leg?
Lilith was found in desperate shape, with a gash across her throat, heartworm, and problems with her eyelids. She was given emergency care and is doing better, but she still needs several months of treatment for heartworm, and surgery to correct upper and lower eyelid entropion (turning in of the eyelids). Will you help Lilith get well?
