Hi. My name is Apollo and I am a sweetheart. I know I am going to enjoy my forever home and family life. We can go exploring at the beach, in the woods or just around the neighborhood. We can watch baseball on the TV and I promise to root for your favorite team, or we can sit on the porch and watch the sun go down. Whatever we do I will be happy that we are doing it together.”
6/14/17: We’re wondering why Apollo’s still here at the shelter. For sure, someone is missing out on a loving and wonderful companion. Don’t let that someone be you. Read through the notes below and stop in and meet Apollo today. You’ll be glad you did.
6/7/17: Apollo continues to do well with his training, learning new things every day. He’s following commands and takes corrections and really seems to want to please his friends. He’s a great, friendly dog who loves to be with people. He can be calm and gentle when you need him to be and ready to run and play when you are!
5/31/17: Apollo has really been doing well with his training. He’s learning how to listen and take directions. On walks, he loves to chase squirrels and loves to stick his head out of the car window on outings. He’s had a couple of play dates with a dog named Butch and they seem to have a great time together. He knows how to sit and likes to play with his toys and will even drop them for you. He’s a really terrific guy that needs his forever person. Come in and meet Apollo today.
5/17/17: Just take a look at Apollo’s face and you’ll see that he is handsome, bright, focused and alert! Apollo has been out exploring the local community and, coming from a rural area of Georgia, doesn’t seem to be a big fan of all of the noise and hubbub of city life. He’s very interested in meeting and playing with other dogs but he’s pretty choosy about which ones he likes and which ones he doesn’t. Apollo loves to exercise and go on long walks and but will need someone who can match his energy level. If you think you would like to give a forever home to a wonderful guy like Apollo, stop in and meet him today.
