Baxter was friendly with adults and did fine with the older child in his previous home. He is house trained and was free inside the home when alone, and loves to spend time outdoors. He prefers to pick who his friends are and enjoys female friends over male friends. He is a smart boy and knows sit, come, and give paw. He does love to play, and will jump with excitement while playing. He loves plush, squeaky toys and chasing a ball or tug toy. His favorite toy is a squeaky snake, and he has had 4 of them. At night he slept in his dog bed, or the couch or floor. He is afraid of dark and thunder storms and is looking for his perfect thunder buddy! He is very lovable with a lot of energy. He loves people and loves being outdoors. He may be best with a family who is active. He would do best without young children.

Baxter is a shy guy with specific needs, which makes him one of our last-to-be-adopted pets, affectionately known as our Unfurgettable Friends! If you are interested in learning more about Baxter, email unfurgettable@neas.org ATTN: Baxter and fill out the online pre-adoption form.
