Hello, my name is Bess. I cannot tell you much about my past, but I can tell you that I arrived here pregnant. I went right into a great foster home where I had my 6 puppies. Once they were old enough, they came in and were adopted. Now it’s my turn! I am friendly and walk well on leash. I enjoy walking in the woods and going out for a couple of walks a day. I also love to be pat and I seek attention. I am ready to meet someone just like you.”

3/2/2019: Bess is now ready to find a home of her very own. She is a bit shy in our active shelter but she would sure love to go home with you soon. Bess will be starting treatment for heartworm next week. She’ll need to have her activity limited to leash walks only for a couple months while the treatment works – so no dog parks, hiking, or crazy running around the yard. We’re sure that will be okay with Bess as she is is a lover and would much rather be snuggling with you anyway. We are completely unsure what Bess’ breed actually is. She has a short, stout, little body. Maybe she has some English Bulldog in her somewhere?
