Deacon seems to find shelter life a bit overwhelming, so he is spending some time in a loving foster home. Deacon is very nervous around new people and surroundings, so his new family will need to take time for him to feel comfortable. Deacon is playful, but calm, and mostly just wants to lay on your lap or sleep on your chest. He has been sleeping in the bed and is mostly housebroken. He doesn’t bark unless he has to go to the bathroom, or wants a treat. Deacon is not comfortable in a crate. He loves other dogs and may do well in a home with another dog. He likes to go for car rides, is social and likes pup cups from Starbucks! He hasn’t been around children or felines, but is a well rounded social dog that may do well with older, respectful children. He is looking for a home without small children.
