Hello, my name is Isabella. My sister Indie is here too, but we are separated because when we are together all we do is hide and growl in the corner. We are doing better by ourselves. I have enjoyed visiting with other dogs that visit that I can play with. In the visit room with people I stay in a corner, but will take treats. I am walking better on leash although, unfamiliar sounds startle me. When familiar people walk by, I will come over in my kennel with my tail wagging. I am looking for a home where people will be patient and kind to me, a more confidant dog in the home might help me.”
2/28/2018: Isabella is a beautiful little girl with lots of love to give her forever person. She is acutely shy, fearful and anxious around people but will allow gentle touching and close contact when you speak softly to her. She has never shown any fear aggression but we feel she would do best in a quiet home without young children. Isabella would also likely do best as a companion dog with an older, calm, confident dog who will give her the courage to come out of her shell. Isabella has incredible potential to be an amazing addition to the right home. If you think it might be yours, stop in and meet her today.
