Greetings, my name is Sara. I love playing in the yard and am very good at playing fetch. I enjoy going for walks and giving kisses and like meeting people. I would like to be your one and only pup. If you are interested in learning more about me, please come on in. My behaviorist will be happy to talk to you and give you some pointers and then I may go home.”
2/11/2019: Sara has shown remarkable improvement in the past week since going to a foster home. Sara interacts very well with both the woman and man in the home. She can be lazy, but does enjoy going for walks and playing. She loves attention and being pat, but does not demand these. Sara also becomes excited when seeing and gets along well with other dogs. Please remember to call if you are interested in meeting her.
2/4/2019: Sara has gone into a foster home so we can learn more about her. She is available from the foster home. Please call and ask to speak with Jenna, Sue or any of our available Adoption Counselors. 978-745-9888. They will be able to answer any questions that you may have and if it sounds like you may be a good match they will set up a meet and greet.
1/22/2019: Sara is a superstar! She loves to be with her humans going on long walks and play time in the yard. She has half of the fetch game down but she’s a little unclear of the concept of having to give the ball back. Sara is working hard on her leash manners with us because she gets excited and can pull really hard. She loves playing with her chew toys. Sara has shown us that she seems to prefer adults as young kids tend to scare her. She can be really picky about which other dogs she likes and which ones she doesn’t. Sara does have a behavior training plan that we’ll review with potential adopters and adopters will need to commit to ongoing training.
