Sophie is best described as happy and calm. She previously lived in a multi-dog foster home and enjoyed every minute of it, but seems to not enjoy her doggy friends she has met at the shelter. She does like to chase her feline friends (and squirrels) so a home without felines would probably be best for her. She is still working on her leash etiquette, and does well, as long as, you have some yummy treats to cheer her on! She likes toys and plays easily with people. She was house trained in her previous foster home. Sophie is comfortable in a crate and is overall a pretty calm and nice dog! She LOVES to play with tennis balls and will even show you some tricks (like sit) for a good new tennis ball!

Sophie is currently in a foster home. To meet her please follow the instructions below.

Sophie is a nervous gal, which makes her one of our Unfurgettable Friends! If you are interested in learning more about Sophie, email unfurgettable@neas.org ATTN: Sophie and fill out the online pre-adoption form.
