Hola, my name is Stella Annie.  I am an active gal seeking an active home where I can play and have lots of fun with my new people. If you bring me home I promise to get you off that couch and out into the world for lots of adventures. I am crate trained and I am doing well on housebreaking, I almost got it down pat!  Every once in a while I can forget myself when playing so I am looking for a home with people that can continue to help me learn positive ways to play.

Shelter Notes

3/8/2019: Stella Annie is a different dog outside her kennel! She plays well with other dogs and would even be a great candidate for doggie daycare! Since she has as much energy as the energizer bunny, she needs lots of time each day to run and play. She’s been working on her training commands at the shelter and she continues to be a canine star!

2/12/2019:  Stella Annie is an incredibly focused young girl  She walks well on leash, is always eager to learn and knows several commands.  She knows; sit, touch, come, stay, drop it and look.  She enjoys her playtime with other dogs, so if you have any, please bring them in to meet her.  She is ready for her forever home.

1/22/2019:  Stella Annie is a sweet, active girl with a ton of love to give the right adopter.  She has lived in a home before and is mostly house trained but still needs some work in that department.  She was allowed to sleep in her owners bed without any incidents.  She is crate trained but was left alone for a minimal amount of time.  She is a strong girl and is working on her leash manners but can still pull pretty hard when she wants to go.  She does great with an Easy Walk Harness.  Stella is highly responsive to training cues and is very food motivated which helps in her training.  She has lots of energy to burn and tends to jump up on people though we are also working on preventing that.  Because of high energy though, she would not be a good fit at this time for families with young children.  Stella has a behavioral training plan that we will review with all potential adopters and her adopters will need to commit to following that plan after adoption.
