Greetings, my name is Yeller. I am totally housebroken. My favorite activities are running, playing fetch and giving kisses. I am active, so I am looking for a active home with people that I can go on long walks and hiking in the woods. I may even love to go swimming at a lake. I love outdoor adventure and indoor snuggling, I even enjoy sleeping in bed with my people, I am truly the bundle of love that you have been searching for.”
1/25/19: Yeller seems to be making progress with his basic commands! He has been responsive to sit, watch me and leave it. He is still working on his leash skills but that will take him some time. We know that he does love treats and his favorite is a Kong filled with peanut butter!
1/16/2019: Jack, also known here in the shelter as Yeller, is a big handsome guy. He is a high energy and very friendly young dog that will need a strong, consistent trainer. Yeller loves jumping on people when he first meets them but he doesn’t realize his own strength. He is fully housebroken but it’s possible he’ll have an accident or two in his new home until he adjusts. He loves his squeaky toys but will need to be monitored as he loves to chew through his soft toys and pull the squeaker out. He loves to play fetch and will consistently bring the ball back to you. Yeller is very friendly with all the humans he meets but can be indifferent or avoid younger children.
