We have two young boys, and having always grown up with dogs, I wanted the same for them. We had lost our family dog 4 months prior, and definitely missed “man’s best friend.”
We visited the shelter a couple times, and finally fell in love with little Ziva (called Pat at NEAS). From the moment we saw her, we knew she belonged in our family. And she definitely does! She is learning and growing by leaps and bounds, and she loves our boys already!
We adopted Gracie Mae on Valentines Day 2014 and she truly is a LOVE!! She just the right mix of playful and relaxed and super smart! She can already follow many commands thanks to training class and her wanting to please. Thank you for helping us adopt her…she’s already a family member <3
Dottie Doucette, a local artist of landscapes, houses, still life, soul paintings, portraits, and animals, is hosting an art show with a portion of the proceeds to go to saving more pets through NEAS. Hours for exhibit are Tues-Fri 10a-3p and 1st & 3rd Sunday 12-3p.
OMGoodness….. A perfect fit…… “Salem” (named after the shelter city) is such a gentle, affectionate pretty boy. I could not be more happy with him. Thank you to NEAS and Lisa for helping “Salem” find me and his forever home. xoxo
Bodhi (aka Rowlette) has filled the holes in our hearts we didn’t even know were there! He goes to puppy camp 2x a week, walks everyday, cuddles and is living the high life! With some major TLC, Bodhi is now a new man! We can’t thank the NEAS staff enough for helping us find our new addition to our family!
